Letter From the EICs

Hi everyone, Tina, Gyan, and Matthew here, your new—and returning— Editors-in-Chief! Vani’s been a huge part of the Spectrum since her freshman year and we’ll all be missing her as she moves on to do great things at Carnegie Mellon. The Spectrum will be cheering you on from AB! Her help at this club has been undeniable, and she will be greatly missed. As many of our beloved readers prepare to graduate, we also want to wish them the very best in their exciting journeys ahead! Our incredible seniors are heading to destinations across the world, so be sure to take a look at our senior map on page 7 to see where the Class of 2026 will begin their next chapters. In addition, we have our very own senior speeches that are given during graduation, so if you missed it, want to follow along, or just want to read a wonderful speech, go to page 6 to go and take a look. While you wait for the graduation ceremony to begin, read our articles about the senior experience and college essays! We’ve also got a riveting Opinion section, ranging from a tier list of all the Redbull flavors and Massachusetts Libraries to what color is associated with each school subject. Make sure to check out the last of the Mental Health at ABRHS series, diving into the history of mental health at AB and how our school has changed throughout the years. Alongside that, don’t miss out on an exclusive interview with our beloved Mr. C, our athletic trainer who is retiring at the end of this year! In addition, our Off-Topic section has many, many, many fun articles, like learning about the theory of justice. And if those articles aren’t your strong suit, check out our six word stories or try to find Pressly, our Spectrum mascot, who is hidden somewhere amongst these pages. We just wanted to thank you for such a wonderful year with The Spectrum. It has been a truly wonderful year and it has been filled with many memories. From articles like Charles Mingus to American Food, we have had an amazing variety throughout this year. I want to also thank all of our sponsors this year, our club would not be possible without all of you! Thank you so much for supporting our club, and we look forward to whatever happens in the future!

Happy browsing, Tina, Gyan, and Matthew
